The Challenge: Designing for a world-renowned brand like Barbie requires more than just creativity; it demands strict adherence to Mattel’s global brand guidelines. For this project, I developed the editorial layout for the diary “Diário: Eu e os meus segredos”, ensuring that every page resonated with the brand’s iconic aesthetic while maintaining a functional and engaging space for young readers.
The Solution: The project involved creating a structured yet playful interior layout. Working with licensed assets, I focused on:
Branding Consistency: Meticulous use of the official Barbie color palette, typography, and imagery.
Interactive Layout: Designing engaging spreads that include sections for secrets, notes, and activities, ensuring a balanced flow between visuals and writing space.
Production Excellence: Preparing print-ready files that met the high-quality standards expected for licensed retail products.
